And here I am, just a day after turning thirty. Many thanks for the birthday wishes, and for all the llamas I received as well!
As most of you might have realized, new artwork has come to a stand still. That isn't likely to change in the near future, as I struggle with the random crashes of poser and the annoying as fuck incompatibility of Daz studio's newer and more advanced figures. The new Daz models make TG work easier than ever before, but also demand that you stick with Daz Studio to use those figures, to say nothing of the material cost of making use of these new figures. And I'm sick and tired of fighting with Poser for hours at a time, setting it up for a good quality render, and having it crash on me mid-way through. That, and the annoying as hell loading times while searching through my library of figure, material, and prop collections just...annoys the hell out of me. There HAS to be a more user friendly medium out there, and if not, I'll wait for one through sheer stubborn annoyance. Learning how to actually do all this stuff through a paper and ink format isn't completely out of the question, either, though my drawing skills suck ass. Much more likely is more writing from me, though it doesn't really fit in on a site like this. None the less, this account remains active and might, at some point, even see some new submissions from me.
I'd just suggest that ya'll not fold your breath too much. It's not as if my stuff was anything terribly special to begin with, of course, but none the less i thank each and every one of you for taking an interest in it.
This is also probably a good time to discourage requests or inquiries about commissions. The tools of my trade are failing me, for a start, and I don't consider my work worthy of paid labor for another. You can request all you like, but I make no promises at all that any of them will ever actually be filled. I've done my best for one or two folks in the past, but the results never satisfied me as anything worthy of note. A failing on my part, rather than those making the requests. Anyway...yeah.
Yay for being a year closer to my expiration date, I suppose. One of these years, someone will give me the gift of turning 18 again, and really make me giggle. Till then, stay safe, internet peoples.
